Here's a picture of this guy I'll start uploading for the end of the month.
[Like you couldn't tell it was him by looking at it. Really people. XP] Plus I already sent him a picture for him to color. After I did, I wanted to make another before he could completly color it in. [REVENGE!!!!!! XD]

I was in a hurry while I scanned it [I had to scan 12 pictures in 8 minutes downtown at a computer library before a class showed up in the room I was in. So I was a little pressed for time. c.c;]

Point of intrest here- Amisay's [Ami Neko!!! XD] stripes. Note how the black outline is not around them and they're completely blue? That's an effect I'm proud of. Same thing with the eyes.

Which I learned how to do from THIS GUY RIGHT HERE dragma-ray


I think the other point I like is that I couldn't find a good enough background. So I improved and made one! [Hey, when you want some good scenery, make it yourself. ^ ^;]

Although those clouds are not bright enough.. o`.o They need to be bright enough to cause some major eye damage. I DEMAND SATISFACTION!!!!!


*coughs* Um....the purple Ami Neko is (c) Amisay. Go see him. Because I said.

Auww this looks really lovely. I like how you drew his happy face, he looks really joyful on a wonderful brigh day. You did a great job on drawing a background! It looks really good, the grass is done very nice *_* *is impressed* I think the background suits the picture really well and it really makes it complete.
Ooh and the little butterfly looks really nice too. *pokes all the dots* You drew the character really well also, you payed attention to all the many stripes and the little thunder like markings on his forehead. It's looks great and looking at this picture really gives me a calm feeling. Well done!

i'm surprised to see this lovely drawing you made for me ^_^
and i look so cute here n_n

*stares at the drawing for three hours*

i try to make a good comment now!

the first thing that pleased was the expression of the neko: you drew it so well, and seeing his face with his little smile and his big eyes reminds me a little pure and innocent child amazed by discovering the marvels of nature!
(that also reminds me an old pic of neko watching a butterfly i made a long time ago, but your version is much cuter than mine ^^;)

i congrat you on the neko stripes :) i know how my artist pals can meet difficulties to draw these (damn) stripes >< perhaps i should find an other style for the neko, so people can draw it easily... o.o
may i give you a tip? when a strip is colored with an simple color (sky blue!), i take one strip with the magic wand and i add a gradient on the selected stripe: it adds a little light and relief effect on the strip and the head!

i also like how you made the grass and the sky: however i think it would be better to raise up the amount of blue colors of the sky, but it's not necessary to change it ^^

i love this art anyway, and also how ami neko looks nice and innocent n_n (and look at these big and deep eyes o_o wow! way different from my little eyes i usually draw ^^;)

making a revenge pic for you is now an emergency O_O cuz you currently win with a score of 2-0 XD i found some nice ideas of pictures for you ^^

oh, and i have to tell you something... i haven't received the pic you sent me by mail O_o

That's such a sweet little drawing gospel! Omitting the outlines makes Neko's fur so lifelike ^^ I should try that someday. Hooray for hand-made backgrounds! XD I need some major background brushes to make a decent one though (just can't get it right digitally with a plain paintbrush XD yeah...)

I must say Neko's face is so adorable! O_O He's so engaged in that butterfly too...I hope he's not going to eat it like my kitten would ^_-

Watching kitties chase butterflies is such a sweet moment :heart:
